Dear Visitors, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Participants,
UTAR CEGT Green Technology and Engineering Exhibition 2014 is the first student conference and exhibition organized by UTAR Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology (FEGT). It will be held in March 2014 in University Tunku Abdul Rahman (Perak Campus). The theme of this event is "Sustainable Development towards a greener future". This exhibition aims to promote courses in Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology
to the participants and also to forms close connections with the participating
companies. GTEX aim to expose our students a new pathway towards their future.
GTEX can benefit
our participants not only through explanation but exploration that will widen
their perspective towards FEGT. In order to achieve this, several events are
included in this exhibition. First of all, recruitment fair will be organized to enable interaction between
students and representatives from each respective company settling up inside a
booth. Next, there will be collaboration meeting between lecturer and
representatives from companies. There will be session titled Final Year Project
Presentation where final year students from each respective department will
present their final year projects and also project presentation by students
that are interested in showing their project such as Capstone Project.
Other sides
events include, technical talk by representative from certain companies will be
organized to expose our student to the industry’s technical knowledge. Next,
there will be side competitions such as Water Rocket Competition and Balloon
Car competition which allow our students to test their knowledge and theories
learned.
We believe that this event will eventually benefit all parties which include students and industry participants itself. We hope that this rare opportunity can connect UTAR students with industry professionals. We look forward to your support and participation in GTEX 2014.
